The Big Thaw

I apologize for my absenteeism over the last couple of weeks. Work and home life have picked up tremendously, and it seems that every time I try to get on my computer from home, my youngest walks up and turns it off. I'm also trying to fight off a nasty bout of depression, which I'm sure is due to being cooped up with lots of people for long periods of time, and not getting to see my friend the sun. I have been reading everyone's blogs, I just haven't had much of a chance to comment or any smart ass comments to leave. So, yes I still love you all.

Fortunately, we've thawed out! We're finally back up to our semi-normal temps in the 70's and the sun has been shining. This means it's time to prepare for the ever so wonderful Spring Cleaning. (Insert sarcastic font here.) I'm trying to work in a garage sale to get rid of lots of unwanted things (I can't sell my brother, as much as I want to some days.) amongst camping plans, two weddings and all the things that go with it, a trip to go see my dad, and Easter. Busy much? I'm also hoping that we can get my mom and brother moved out next month, which will help fascilitate said cleaning by removing all their stuff from the mix. In the meantime, I will be getting garden beds prepared and searching out plants. I am still working on plans to remodel the master bathroom, the major hinderance being the 4'x5' mirror seemingly permanantly attached to the wall. I've gotten some good advice from a contractor, so we'll see if I can get it down without destroying either the mirror or the wall.
