I decided to take the day off from cleaning yesterday to read. And read I did! I finished an entire book in half a day, though it did send me to bed late, which I am now regretting somewhat, as the coffee hasn't kicked in yet.
My addiction this time was "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls" by Steve Hockensmith. It's the prequel to "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" and is absolutely so much fun, which is why I couldn't put it down! The only problem I found: it's not long enough. Another fantabulous thing about this book is its publisher, Quirk Classics. They've been posting book trailers for these mesh-ups that make you want to not only read the books, but keep you begging that movies will be made from them. P&P&Z will be coming out as a movie this year, though it's still not got a date nailed down for release. In the meantime, enjoy some time wasting on me. :) Here are links to the YouTube book trailers.
Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters (I haven't read this one yet, but it's on the list.)
I really want to read the Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
ReplyDeleteI tried to read Pride Prejudice and Zombies, but I couldn't get more than half way through it. I think it was the Austen part I couldn't get into.
