I finally have pictures of my ceramics and some of my newest paintings up on their own pages. Yay! :) Not all of my creations are up there. Under the ceramics page, I have a serving set that includes a punch bowl that has yet to be photographed, along with a birdbath. Unfortunately, my husband broke the original bowl to the birdbath Saturday. Lucky for him, I made a second bowl just in case. I still have 2 paintings that have not been photographed, as they are in progress and not even close to complete. You may not see all my work up yet, but I will be working on it over the next few weeks. Feel free to stroll through and enjoy the fun I have created. As always, if there is a particular piece you would like to have for yourself, I'm always interested in selling a few. This will actually go towards paying tuition for at least one more art class next semester, so you know it goes to a good cause. :D
Also, it may be difficult for me to be available this week, as my graduation is tomorrow. FINALLY! I graduated from highschool exactly 10 years ago, and now I'm finally getting my associates degree. I've had enough time to get a bachelors and masters degree. In all fairness, I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, and I'd much rather be able to run after my kids while I'm young! (I know, excuses, excuses.) Back on track. I will spend the majority of this week getting my house clean in anticipation of the party I'm throwing Saturday for the occassion. Hey, I will take any excuse for throwing a party and having friends over. :) Hopefully, I can get some of those pictures up next week. Have a great week!
congrats on getting your degree. You are quite talented. Are the kids your children? That one is my favorite. Those are some awesome pieces, also. I want to take a pottery class. Don't know that I'd be anygood, but seems like it would be both centuring and fun.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on graduating!
ReplyDeleteYour new pages are great! So neat that your going to sell some stuff and great cause for the money. Now add a contact email so we can discuss #17 in your ceramics page!
Suzi, yes, those are my boys. :) You would be surprised at how good you might be. Ceramics takes a whole different part of you than the other visual arts.
ReplyDeleteHeather, I'll send you an email if you're serious!
Or not. :) It won't let me through. tinkerschnitzel@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteOh, congratulations on getting your degree! That is no small feat...whilst raising children at the same time....do NOT minimize it. I'm so glad you're having a big blowout party to celebrate. Your hubby is lucky you thought to make a backup bowl...I'm wondering if you'd thought one of the KIDS might break the original?? I'm off to check out your artistic side...
ReplyDeleteMucho congratulations on your HUGE accomplishment! Enjoy your party and give yourself a big ol' pat on the back. I, for one, believe that not knowing what you want to be when you grow up is knowing what you want to be when you grow up. Chew on that for a sec. :)
