This week has been absolutely insane, but sooo worth it. We've been gearing up for Holy Week and all the worship services that come along with it. The pastor was nice enough to get everything to me early, meaning this week, and I got the newsletter ready to be sent out. This is a HUGE accomplishment here. We're talking 3 worship services.
On top of this, I've had my 5 year old with me at work. Driving. Me. Crazy. If I've ever wanted to smack the child upside the back of his head, this would have been the week. I'm working on his spring party at school, which is on Good Friday, and it looks like I'm the only one doing any of the planning this time around. That's fine, cause the other moms get to pay for pizza.
Finally, I leave you with a picture I sent to my mom and husband at 9am Monday morning. My husband emailed me back and asked "What the f*ck is that?!" Hehe. I love freaking people out. You don't get much weirder than this, folks. It's called an aye-aye and is related to the lemur. I can't decide if it's more cute than ugly or vice versa. Have a happy Friday!
The picture of the aye aye made my weekend! My xons are in their early twenties and I've threatened for years to smack them upside their heads.They still laugh and I tell them to watch out because one day I might follow through with it!

Suzicate, I'm glad that made your weekend. :D I did actually smack mine upside the head yesterday for spitting a straw across the table. I think I got my point across.
ReplyDeleteHeather, I think it looks like a gremlin too! I'm just praying we don't have a funeral within the next two weeks, although it's pretty much guaranteed every year for some reason.
Oh my goodness, that thing is real?! it looks kind of like a bat. Those green eyes are freaky!
